Clarification On Announcement No. 00128 Dated 5 January 2012

The Board of Directors of Loyz Energy Limited ("the Company") refers to the announcement no. 00128 released on 5 January 2012 and wishes to clarify the following statements in the said announcement :-

1. Subject title of the media release dated 5 January 2012 ("the media release") should read as "Loyz Energy inks strategic cooperation deal with GEO EAST CO., LTD".

2. First square point of the media release should read as "Exclusive agreement allows E&P arm Loyz Oil to tap expertise and resources of GEO EAST to acquire and process seismic data".

3. Third square point of the media release should read as "GEO EAST CO., LTD is the wholly owned subsidiary of BGP, one of the world's leading geophysical service company".

4. Paragraph two of the media release should be deleted in its entirety.

A revised version of the media release is attached as Appendix A.
